Wokingham In Need contacted the Salvation Army…
WIN supplied goods directly together with a financial donation to help provide gifts for the homeless at the annual Christmas lunch. Captain Jan Howlin and her colleagues used the goods and financial help in conjunction with other donations to make packages for the clients to add a feeling of belonging at this time of year, as well as her team supplying a warm meal and love and support. The efforts of the Salvation Army Team and volunteers can be seen below – a great deal of hard work and effort in the background is made all year round supporting the needs of others
Wokingham In Need are proud to support the Salvation Army and will continue to do so. Help has also been offered when needed in relation to the joint venture with the churches for the Homeless Shelter in Wokingham starting in January for two months.
Please continue to support Wokingham In Need in their effort to assist both the Homeless and Vulnerable in Wokingham together with other ongoing projects to be announced shortly.
